Recent Social Media Management Client Content

I’m taking you behind the scenes of strategic social media content creation as a social media manager in Australia…

We are lucky enough to live locally to a few of our social media management clients which means we get to play a big part in capturing video content. But for others we live on the other side of the country which means we put on our delegation hats and enlist some help to capture the creative that matches the strategy.

Oh and don’t forget all the hours we spend in front of Canva… Carousels and graphics are just as important.

Let me show you a few examples of content we’ve created recently.

Social media content creation day down south

One of our recent content days involved travelling down south in WA to create short form video content for two different clients.

The focus for both brands was slightly different which is exactly why strategy matters so much when planning social media content.

Client 1: Reel and TikTok content designed for connection

We travelled down south for a full content day with this client mostly focusing on Reel and TikTok content. Here’s one of the reels we captured on the day:

I also vlogged the content day, which you can watch here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DVMyaJgk-sv/

Always love when I get to make an appearance in a reel 😂

Client 2: Reel content designed for relatability and authority

On the same trip, we also filmed content for another client with a completely different strategy.

For this brand, we wanted a balance between:

  • Professional, informative content
  • More relaxed and entertaining Reels
  • Content that showcased personality without losing credibility

One of my favourite videos from the day leaned more into the fun side of the brand, and it ended up being such a strong example of how important variety is in a content strategy.

Client 3: Let’s talk Carousel posts

Video content is important but carousel posts are still one of the best ways to increase:

  • Saves
  • Shares
  • Engagement
  • Time spent on post

This is only 3 slides from this Carousel post but the idea behind this one was to hook people in with curiosity and then flip the script on what people usually associate “what ifs” with. People loved the positive spin and it aligns with the brand perfectly.

These are just some of the insights from this post:

  • 101 follows
  • 1,059 saves

Client 4: Emotional hooks for the win

Another recent piece of client content focused heavily on emotional storytelling.

The opening hook was designed specifically to create an emotional response and encourage people to stop scrolling long enough to connect with the message.

This is especially important for personal brands or businesses where there’s one clear face behind the company. The audience wants familiarity, trust, and connection.

Strong emotional hooks paired with intentional captions can dramatically improve engagement because they make people feel something instead of simply consuming content passively.
