My Chat GPT Strategy

ChatGPT for Instagram

Let's break down how to get the most out of AI 👀

When you mention AI technology, people often have one of two responses:

1️⃣ Fear that it will replace jobs.
2️⃣ Or they see how beneficial AI could be and they want to know as much as possible.

To be honest, I've even found myself thinking with a bit of fear about it…

But in the back of my head, I can literally hear my parents thinking the same thing about the invention of the internet 🤭

Think about it this way…

When Photoshop first came out it was feared by photographers + artists - but it became a tool used by industry experts to improve the quality of their work! BUT NEVER TO REPLACE THEM 👌🏼

Or when calculators were invented, people thought that people would have no need to learn maths anymore. But obviously, now we know that’s not the case, it just made things more efficient.

This cycle has been going on for hundreds of years. It’s nothing new.

AI is a TOOL. One that you as an expert in your field can use to improve your efficiency and quality of work. In the same way that you might use Excel formulas to make spreadsheets more efficiently.

Steal my Chat GPT strategy for Instagram

The first thing to know when using Chat GPT or another AI is what to say or ask to get the best results.

If you have had a play around with it before, you might have noticed that you got some pretty bland or basic answers.

Knowing what to ask can be tricky, so here’s my strategy.

➡️ Be specific: “I need marketing advice” is a start but “I need marketing advice for my handmade skincare online store targeting women aged 18-35” is a game changer!
➡️ Share context: Fill in the background details. What in your current marketing strategy is working? What are you struggling with? The more the AI knows, the better it can help.
➡️ Define your goals: What do you hope to achieve? Boosting email engagement? Attracting more social media followers? Let the AI know your objectives.
➡️ Ask away: But before you press send, add “if you need any extra information, please let me know”. This will allow the AI to gather any additional context or information it may need to fulfil your request.

For example:

👉🏾Instead of asking
“Suggest some creative marketing strategies for my online store.”

✅ Ask this instead
“I run an online store that sells handmade, eco-friendly skincare products. Our target audience is primarily women aged 18-35 who are interested in sustainable living. We’ve seen success with Instagram and Pinterest, but our email marketing seems to be falling flat. Can you suggest some creative marketing strategies to improve our email engagement and also attract more customers through social media?”

When asking like this, you’ve provided context about your business, identified your target audience, and explained where you’re currently seeing success and where you’re facing challenges.

This allows the AI to generate more relevant and effective advice.

When you’re clear and detailed, AI can be an invaluable tool for your business growth.

PLEASE NOTE that it should never be used to replace your work. Nothing will compare to your own genius and creativity.

The data on there is also only until Sep 2021, so keep this in mind when chatting away.

I’ve heard some great stories of people using it, if you have one I’d love to hear it. Hit reply 📩
