Branding Shoots for your Business

I recently had a branding shoot with the beautiful Annette ( @photosbyannette ) and was able to capture some new photos for my business, as well as some cute snaps of Navy and my growing baby bump! 

I’ve had so many branding shoots since starting my agency for my team & me, so I wanted to share some of my top tips for preparing… I know how daunting it can feel!

Here are some tips you can use to help turn your own dream branding shoot into a reality ♡

📸 Have inspo ready! In the lead up to the shoot, you’ll want to know the vibe you’re going for so you can book the right location, wear the outfits that fit the vibe, and have a reference for different poses you want to do. I recommend creating a Pinterest board of all the inspo pics you have. Which brings me to my next tip…

📸 You want to be able to pin the photos you get at the shoot alongside the ones you pinned in your Pinterest board for the vision of the shoot. This will ensure you are 100% happy with the final result. 

 📸 Have people around you that you feel comfortable with. It doesn’t have to be a whole team of people (although it can be), but make sure you have at least one person there with you who can be your dedicated hype man or woman. A good photographer should also make you feel comfortable and help give you direction on how to pose/ what looks good. But remember that it probably will feel a little bit unnatural, and that’s okay.
