5 Ways to Get More Followers in 2023

We're almost half way through 2023 and one of the most common questions I hear is...

"How do I grow my account?!"

I probably sound like a broken record at this point but I wouldn’t be saying it if it wasn’t true. Reels are a really important part of any Instagram strategy. 

And it’s no secret that they help boost your reach, especially with new audiences!

 2️⃣ Hashtag Strategy

Hashtags are one of the most underrated growth tools.

Did you know that using just one hashtag can increase your reach by 11% and only grows more with the more hashtags you use? To put that into perspective that’s an additional 1,100 accounts reached per post for an account with 10,000 followers.

3️⃣ Up your shareable content game

Creating highly-shareable content is one of the most effective ways to grow your audience organically. The more relatable it is to your audience, the more likely they are to share the post with their friends which will boost your reach + growth.

4️⃣ Optimise your bio

The words you include in the Name Field of your Instagram bio are searchable 🔎

So when people search for “social media manager”, all the accounts that have that in their Name Field will show up for them. So think about what your audience is likely to search for that’s related to your industry and add that to your bio. 

5️⃣ Collaborate on your posts

Do you have a friend or colleague in the industry who you can collaborate with? Create some content with them that is relatable to both of your niches.

And don’t forget to use the co-author feature to reach both of your audiences!
